E-mail Setup Instructions

Click the version of your email client on the right to get instructions on how to setup your Milwaukee PC E-mail account.

Milwaukee PC Email Settings:

Basic Information needed for setup for POP3 or IMAP:

Username: Your full email address
Password Your email account password
Incoming Mail Server: mail.milwpc.com
Outgoing Mail Server: mail.milwpc.com
Server Requires Authentication: 
Yes, but not Secure
Incoming Port: Without SSL - 110
Outgoing Port: Without SSL - 26

Android / iPhone / Non-MPC users

Basic Information needed for SMTP

Incoming Mail Server: mail.milwpc.com
Outgoing Mail Server: mail.milwpc.com
Port 26
Security No SSL

To Use the Windows 10 Mail App with Your Email:

  • Open the Mail App from the Start Menu
  • Scroll down the list and choose Advanced Setup from the list
  • Choose Internet email from the list.
  • In the E-mail address field, enter your email address.
  • In the User name field, enter your email address again.
  • In the Password field, enter your password (remember this is case sensitive)
  • In the Account name field, enter Milw PC
  • Enter your name as if signing a letter in the Send your messages using the name field
  • In the Incoming mail server field enter mail.milwpc.com
  • For Account type, choose POP3
  • In the Outgoing (SMTP) email server field enter mail.milwpc.com:26
  • Remove the check marks from the 2 boxes that say Require SSL
  • Click Sign In, and you’re done.

To Use Microsoft Outlook Express with Your Email:

  • In Microsoft Outlook Express, from the Tools menu, select Accounts.
  • Go to the Mail tab and from the Add menu, select Mail.
  • In the Display Name field, enter your name and click Next.
  • In the E-mail address field, enter your email address and click Next.
  • On the E-mail Server Names page, complete your information as follows:
    • My incoming mail server is a POP3.
    • Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP or HTTP) server: mail.milwpc.com
    • Outgoing mail (SMTP) server: mail.milwpc.com
    • Click Next.
  • In the Account Name enter your full email address and in the Password field your password.
    • In the Account Name enter your full email address and in the Password field your password.
    • Click Next.
    • On the setup confirmation page, click Finish.
    • On the Mail tab, select the account you just created, and then click Properties.
    • Go to the Servers tab. Select My server requires authentication , and click Settings then select use same settings as incoming server. click Apply.
  • Click Ok.
  • Click Close.

To Use Microsoft Outlook 2003 with Your Email:

  • In Microsoft Outlook, select Email Accounts from the Tools menu.
  • On the Email Accounts wizard window, select Add a new e-mail account and click Next.
  • For your server type, select IMAP or POP3, and then click Next.
  • Enter the information including your name, email address, username (full email address), password, incoming server address and outgoing server address.
    • Incoming Mail Server: mail.milwpc.com
    • Outgoing Mail Server: mail.milwpc.com
  • Click on More Settings.
  • On the Outgoing Server tab, select My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.
  • On the Advanced tab, set the following.
    • Incoming Server port: Use port 143 without SSL if IMAP was selected
    • *Use port 110 without SSL if POP3 was selected
    • Outgoing Server (SMTP) port: Use port 26 without SSL
  • Click OK.
  • Click Next, and then click Finish.

To Use Microsoft Outlook 2007 with Your Email:

  • Open Microsoft Outlook 2007. From the Tools menu, select Account Settings.
  • Click New.
  • Select Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP, or HTTP, and then click Next.
  • Enter Your Name, E-mail Address, and password confirmation.
  • At the bottom, select Manually configure server settings or additional server types and click Next.
  • Select Internet E-mail, and click Next.
  • Select either IMAP or POP3 for your Account Type. Use these settings for your incoming and outgoing servers, depending on the type of email you have:
    • Incoming Mail Server: mail.milwpc.com Outgoing Mail Server: mail.milwpc.com
  • Enter Your Name and full E-mail Address.
  • Enter your User Name (your full email address) and Password, and select Remember password.
  • Click More Settings.
  • Click the Outgoing Server tab. Select My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication and Use same settings as my incoming server.
  • On the Advanced tab, set the following.
    • Incoming Server port: Use port 143 without SSL if IMAP was selected
    • *Use port 110 without SSL if POP3 was selected
    • Outgoing Server (SMTP) port: Use port 26 without SSL
  • Click OK
  • Click Next, and then click Finish.

To Use Microsoft Windows Mail with Your Email:

  • On the Tools menu, click Accounts.
  • In the Internet Accounts dialog box, click Add.
  • On the Select Account Type page, click E-mail Account , and then click Next.
  • On the Your Name page, enter your full name in the Display name box.
  • On the Internet E-mail Address page, enter your e-mail address in the E-mail address box, and then click Next.
  • On the Set up e-mail servers page, select IMAP or POP3 under Incoming e-mail server type on the drop-down menu.
  • Under Incoming mail (POP3 or IMAP) server, enter mail.milwpc.com
  • Under Outgoing e-mail server (SMTP) name, enter mail.milwpc.com
  • Select the check box next to Outgoing server requires authentication , and then click Next.
  • On the Internet Mail Logon page, enter your full e-mail address and password. If you want Windows Mail to remember your password, select the check box next to Remember password. After you've entered this information, click Next.
  • On the Congratulations page, select the one of the following check boxes, and then click Finish.
  • On the Internet Accounts page, click Close.

To Use Microsoft Outlook 2010 / 2013 / 2016 with Your Email:

  • Open Microsoft Outlook. Click File, and then click Add Account.
  • At the bottom, select Manually configure server settings or additional server types , and click Next.
  • Select Internet E-mail, and click Next.
  • Enter Your Name and full E-mail Address.
  • Under Incoming mail (POP3) server, enter mail.milwpc.com
  • Under Outgoing e-mail server (SMTP) name, enter mail.milwpc.com
  • Enter your User Name (your full email address) and Password, and select Remember password.
  • Click More Settings.
  • Click the Outgoing Server tab. Select My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication and Use same settings as my incoming mail server.
  • Click Next.
  • Outlook will test your settings. When it’s done, click Close.
  • Click Finish.

To Use Microsoft Windows Live Mail with Your Email:

  • Launch Windows Live Mail from the Start Menu.
  • Go to the Tools menu, and then select All Accounts.
  • In the navigation column, click Add e-mail account.
  • In the Email Address field, enter your full email address.
  • In the Password field, enter your password.
  • Select if you want to Remember Password.
  • In the Display Name field, enter how you want your name to display when email is sent from this account, and then click Next.
  • Select POP3 server type and enter mail.milwpc.com
  • Incoming server Port: 110
  • Select to log on using Clear text authentication.
  • In the Login ID field, enter your full email address.
  • In the Outgoing server field, enter mail.milwpc.com
  • Outgoing server Port: 26
  • Select My outgoing server requires authentication, and then click Next.
  • Click Finish.

To Use Mozilla Thunderbird for Your Email:

  • In Mozilla Thunderbird from the File menu, select New
  • Select Existing Email Account
  • Enter your name, e-mail address, email password, click Continue
  • Select Manual Config
  • Change Incoming to: POP3
  • Change Incoming and Outgoing Server hostname to: mail.milwpc.com
  • Change Incoming and Outgoing SSL to: None
  • Change Incoming and Outgoing Authentication to: Normal Password
  • Change Incoming and Outgoing Username to: your email address
  • Click Done (you may have to click I understand the risks if a warning box pops up)

To Use Microsoft Outlook 2011 for Mac for Your Email:

  • Click Tools, and then click Accounts.
  • Click E-mail Account.
  • In the E-mail Address field, enter your full email address.
  • In the Password field, enter your email password.
  • In the User name field, enter your full email address.
  • Select POP3 server type and enter mail.milwpc.com
  • Enter an incoming server port: 110
  • Select SMTP server type and enter mail.milwpc.com
  • Enter an outgoing server port: 26
  • Click Add Account.
  • Click More Options.
  • From the Authentication menu, select User Name and Password.
  • In the User name field, enter the full email address.
  • In the Password field, enter the password for the email account.
  • Click OK.

To Use Apple Mail for Your Email:

  • Launch Mail.
  • If the Welcome to Mail window does not display, select Add Account from the File menu.
  • Complete the following fields, and then click Continue.
    • Full Name — The name to display on your email.
    • Email Address — Your email address.
    • Password — Your email account password.
  • Complete the following fields, and then click Continue.
    • Account Type — Select POP3
    • DescriptionIncoming mail.milwpc.com
    • Incoming Mail Servermail.milwpc.com
    • User Name — Your full email address.
    • Password — Your email account password.
  • If prompted for Incoming Mail Security, select the following and then click Continue.
    • Select Password.
  • Complete the following fields, and then click Continue.
    • DescriptionOutgoing mail.milwpc.com
    • Outgoing Mail Servermail.milwpc.com
    • Use Authentication — Select this option.
    • User Name — Your full email address.
    • Password — Your email account password.
  • If prompted for Outgoing Mail Security, select the following and then click Continue.
    • Select Password.
  • Select Take account online, and then click Create.

To Use Android based email for Your Email:

  • Open your device's email application.
  • If you already have an email account set up, press Menu and tap Accounts. Press Menu again and tap Add account.
  • Type your Email address and Password, and click Next.
  • Tap IMAP.
  • Enter the following:
    • Username: your full email address
    • Password: your email password
    • IMAP server: mail.milwpc.com
    • Port: 143
  • Select Require sign-in and make sure your Username (your full email address) and Password are correct.
  • Tap Next.
  • Tap Next again. Name your account and enter the name you want to display on outgoing messages.
  • Tap Done.

To Use Apple iPhone for Your Email:

  • Go to Settings.
  • On the Settings screen, tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
  • Tap Add Account.
  • Tap Other.
  • Tap Add Mail Account.
  • Complete the following fields:
    • Name — The name to display on your email.
    • Address — Your email address.
    • Password — Your email account password.
    • Description — mail.milwpc.com
  • Tap Next.
  • Tap IMAP.
  • Enter your Incoming Mail Server information:
    • Host Namemail.milwpc.com
    • User NameYour full email address.
    • Password — Your email account password.
  • Enter your Outgoing Mail Server information:
    • Host Namemail.milwpc.com
    • User Name — Your full email address.
    • Password — Your email account password.
  • Tap Next, and then tap Save.

To Use Apple iPad for Your Email:

  • From the Home screen, tap Settings.
  • On the Settings screen, tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
  • From the Accounts section, tap Add Account.
  • Tap Other.
  • Tap Add Mail Account.
  • Complete the following fields, and then tap Save:
    • Name — The name to display on your email.
    • Address — Your email address.
    • Password — Your email account password.
    • Description — mail.milwpc.com
  • Tap IMAP.
  • Enter your Incoming Mail Server information:
    • Host Namemail.milwpc.com
    • User Name — Your full email address.
    • Password — Your email account password.
  • Enter your Outgoing Mail Server information:
    • Host Namemail.milwpc.com
    • User Name — Your full email address.
    • Password — Your email account password.
  • Tap Save.

ByteHead Email Settings:

Basic Information needed for setup for POP3 or IMAP:

Username: Your full email address
Password Your email account password
Incoming Mail Server: mail.bytehead.com
Outgoing Mail Server: mail.bytehead.com
Server Requires Authentication:
Yes, but not Secure
Incoming Port: Without SSL -110
Outgoing Port: Without SSL -26

*To configure your email client for use with ByteHead email, simply use the above settings with any of the email client software instructions above.
